Di Bruno Bros brings history and flavor to the streets of Philadelphia. This specialty cheese boutique was opened by three Italian brothers in 1939, and since then has grown in flavor and fame. Di Bruno Bro has locations at 930 S. Ninth Street in the heart of Italian Market in South Philadelphia, 1730 Chestnut Street in Rittenhouse Square, and  1701 JFK Blvd by the Comcast Center.

Di Bruno Bros features an endless selection of cheeses and specialty products from around the globe. Tour the 300-square foot cheese cave and marvel at the two temperature and moisture-controlled aging rooms. Throughout the store there are samples of some of the 180 specialty cheeses that come from over  10 countries around the world, providing you with a wide variety of flavors and textures. Take your pick and delight in the flavors of Italian, French, American, English, Irish, Spanish, Holland, Scandinaian, Swiss, Belgian, and Greek cheese!

Once you’ve had your fill of cheese from around the world, you can begin to tour the charcuterie department where you will find a delectable selection of gourmet meats, pates, smoked fish, caviar, and prepared foods. If you’re hungry for lunch be sure to visit the second floor where you will find “Upstairs at Di Bruno’s.” Here you can enjoy dining in an upscale casual café that offers daily lunch service and weekend brunch. Enjoy sandwiches filled with the finest meats and cheeses, or dine on oven fresh pizza, grilled kobe burgers, sushi, or salad.

The first Friday of every month Di Bruno Bros offers a beer and cheese tasting. The beer and cheese tasting typically lasts two hours and features about seven pairings. Di Bruno Bros is a great place to stop for lunch when you’re touring Philadelphia.
